You care for the whole patient.
Let's make your website do the same.
An independent audit of smiletogether.com.au — the way Google and a new patient actually see it — and how Mobol would turn that warm brand into booked care. Website, SEO, automation and AI, from one Perth team.
Websites, brands, and AI work — done properly. · mobol.com.au · July 2026
You already have the hard part.
Smile Together has a distinctive, warm identity, a real clinical team and genuine care in its story. That's the part most practices never get right. What's missing is the plumbing underneath — so that warmth isn't yet turning into as many booked visits as it could.
Website redesign
Faster, clearer, built to convert — without losing the warmth.
SEO & local
Be the dentist Leeming finds first, under the right name.
Backend & automation
One clean patient record, less admin, nothing dropped.
AI integration
Answer every call and message, day or night.
The foundations are good. The gaps are fixable.
This isn't a teardown. Several things are already right — which is exactly why fixing the rest is worth it.
- A warm, ownable brand. Distinctive identity, real team, genuine tone.
- A clear emergency path. The emergency page gets directness right.
- Clean technical basics. Google's automated checks for SEO markup, best-practice and accessibility all score high.
These reward a clean template — not whether patients can find you locally or the page loads quickly. That's where the work is.
Three moments that make a ready patient hesitate — live right now.
Every one of these is visible on the site today. None require a redesign to fix.
The booking says the wrong name
Tap “Book Online” and the page that opens is branded for the old practice:
The legal pages flag themselves
The Privacy Policy and Terms both end with, verbatim:
The social icons go nowhere
Every follow icon points to a bare platform homepage:
Note: an earlier audit flagged a separate “Acuity booking demo” on the contact page — that no longer appears on the live site, which now routes to Praktika. We verify before we recommend.
On a phone, the main content takes about 14 seconds to load.
Largest Contentful Paint on mobile. Google's “good” threshold is 2.5s.
Desktop is fine. But an anxious or in-pain patient searches from the chair, on their phone — and that's the slowest experience. The cause is a heavy template (Squarespace) shipping oversized images and unused code.
Google PageSpeed Insights — captured 16 July 2026
Google can't quite tell you're a dentist in Leeming.
The technical checklist passes, but the signals that win local patients are missing or split between two identities.
- No “dentist” in the data. Only generic WebSite schema — no LocalBusiness / Dentist / FAQ markup for Google to read.
- Thin, shallow service pages. Each treatment is a single short page — Implants is around 260 words — with little depth for patients or Google.
- The old brand still ranks. leemingdental.com.au 302-redirects to the homepage — a temporary redirect that leaks ranking signal instead of a proper 301.
- Reviews sit under the old name. Yelp, healthdirect, Facebook & directories still list “Leeming Dental Centre”.
- Room to cover more searches. A dedicated page per treatment — with sub-pages for specifics — is standard practice; the site has just a handful of thin ones.
- Small housekeeping. A duplicate /home page, and pages like Appointments & Privacy ship with no H1 heading.
The ceiling is the platform. Squarespace caps how far speed, schema, integrations and AI can go. The fixes below need a foundation built for them.
It reads like a document — not a storefront.
Your website is your digital storefront — landing on it should feel like walking into the clinic: warm, easy, personal. A few small things get in the way today.
Text in empty rooms
Pages pair a big heading with large blank gaps and long paragraphs — the team page runs ~530 words, treatment pages read like a Word doc. Easy-to-scan beats a wall of text.
Small frictions add up
On the contact page the phone number and email aren't tappable — a patient can't tap to call from their phone. Little fixes like this quietly lift enquiries.
Make it personal
The booking step doesn't show the dentists' faces. Putting real people next to the choice builds trust and makes booking feel personal.
Small gaps — but they add up.
After-hours and missed calls have no safety net to catch them.
A phone visitor gives up before the page loads, or can't tap to call once it does.
In search, new patients can meet the old brand before yours.
The one who does reach “Book Online” meets a different practice's name, and hesitates.
None of this is the brand's fault. It's plumbing — and plumbing is fixable. Here's how we'd do it.
Four workstreams, one Perth team, one roof.
No juggling a designer, an SEO, a developer and an automation agency. We build, run and connect all of it — on the same modern stack we use for our own site.
Website
A fast, custom build made to convert.
SEO & local
Found first, under the right name.
Automation
Less admin, nothing dropped.
AI & social
Every call, message & channel covered.
Same warmth. Built to convert.
- One-screen intent routing. “What brings you in?” → urgent · routine · implants & cosmetic · nervous · existing patient.
- Location, hours & tap-to-call everywhere. Plus health funds and first-visit detail surfaced, not buried.
- Booking that says Smile Together. Consistent branding from click to confirmation.
- Fast on mobile. A custom build targeting sub-2.5s load — off the Squarespace ceiling.
Easier for the right patients to find you.
- Migrate the old brand properly. Permanent 301s and old-URL mapping so equity and reviews move to Smile Together.
- Tell Google you're a dentist. LocalBusiness / Dentist, FAQ & Breadcrumb schema.
- One name, address & number everywhere. Google Business, Healthengine & directories aligned; reviews reclaimed.
- A page for every treatment. In-depth pages per service — plus sub-pages for specifics like All-on-4, single-tooth implants or kids' check-ups — the standard way to match what patients search. With tracking that ties clicks to bookings.
One clean patient record — from every direction.
Website, calls and chat stop living in separate tools. They feed one intake, sync to your practice system, and trigger the right human follow-up. It wraps around Praktika — it doesn't replace it.
Waitlist & cancellation fill, recalls and reactivation of lapsed patients.
Digital intake & consent, automated confirmations, missed-call recovery.
A simple dashboard tying enquiries to booked, attended appointments.
Answer every call and message — day or night.
- 24/7 AI phone answering. Picks up after-hours & overflow, captures symptoms and urgency, books or raises an urgent callback.
- Website chat assistant. Hours, parking, health funds, first-visit prep — and gentle triage into booking.
- AI quote & estimate replies. Shares clinician-approved fee ranges; routes the rest to your team.
- Behind the scenes. Missed-call text-back in a minute, follow-up sequences, recall automation, reporting.
A local team that does all of it — properly.
