The audit · getting found

Google can't quite tell you're a dentist in Leeming.

The technical checklist passes, but the signals that win local patients are missing or split between two identities.

  • No “dentist” in the data. Only generic WebSite schema — no LocalBusiness / Dentist / FAQ markup for Google to read.
  • Thin, shallow service pages. Each treatment is a single short page — Implants is around 260 words — with little depth for patients or Google.
  • The old brand still ranks. leemingdental.com.au 302-redirects to the homepage — a temporary redirect that leaks ranking signal instead of a proper 301.
  • Reviews sit under the old name. Yelp, healthdirect, Facebook & directories still list “Leeming Dental Centre”.
  • Room to cover more searches. A dedicated page per treatment — with sub-pages for specifics — is standard practice; the site has just a handful of thin ones.
  • Small housekeeping. A duplicate /home page, and pages like Appointments & Privacy ship with no H1 heading.

The ceiling is the platform. Squarespace caps how far speed, schema, integrations and AI can go. The fixes below need a foundation built for them.

Text in empty rooms

Pages pair a big heading with large blank gaps and long paragraphs — the team page runs ~530 words, treatment pages read like a Word doc. Easy-to-scan beats a wall of text.

Small frictions add up

On the contact page the phone number and email aren't tappable — a patient can't tap to call from their phone. Little fixes like this quietly lift enquiries.

Make it personal

The booking step doesn't show the dentists' faces. Putting real people next to the choice builds trust and makes booking feel personal.
